This book has some fantastic pictures. I reckon some of the values are dated, but the pictures and examples were very useful to me.

As one of the other reviewers wrote, this is NOT a register of all clocks. But it does serve a beginner well, with many fine pictures. But, the estimated values have not anything to do with actuality. Although this book is many years ancient, the values are 3-10 times more than you'll pay on ebay, which, by the way, is the best place to buy an antique clock (as long as the dealer has a 98% or better rating). Prices are about one-fifth the price of antique stores.
Antique Trader Clocks Price Guide: Together with All Types of Clocks - 17th owing to 20th Century (Antique Trade Clocks Price Guide)

Reviewer: Daniel Fock,
A courageous title with "ALL Types of Clocks" and it disappointed as it did not control many (if any) small Boudoir Clocks. Few 20th Century clocks only 1 thrilling clock. Few mentions of swiss clocks of note. NO INDEX - what sort of book dose not have an index.

Like many American authors - if it does not happen in the USA it does not happen.

I would not urge this book to those who collect clocks from "the world" as the world is greater than the USA.
